Michael Bray

Michael Bray is a part of the Nobska Capital Management group while also serving as a Senior Vice President of Ingalls & Snyder.  Before joining Nobska Capital Management in June 2024, Michael successfully provided investment management for institutional and private clients at Inverness Counsel, where he also led fixed income and macroeconomic strategies. Prior to his tenure at Inverness starting in 2018, he managed investment portfolios at GWD LLC and Mountain States Analytics LLC.  Previously, Michael worked in fixed income sales and trading for over 30 years at firms including at RW Baird, Guggenheim, and First Albany, researching and transacting a full range of fixed income securities. His areas of expertise include private wealth management, constructing total equity and bond portfolios tailored towards client financial needs and boosting performance through strategic sector and security adjustments. Michael holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, awarded in 1981 and 1985 respectively.
